CONCEPT
This advertisement “Letter to World Leaders” ran through the month of January 2015 in Time Magazine, The Economist, Newsweek, and the Financial Times. The visual approach utilized vintage block prints and various type face styles to convey a sense of the many voices of the people coming together with one message. Designed in a letter format, it served as a public message urging government officials and leaders in global development to take notice of the outcome of the Millennium Development Goals and — looking forward to 2015 and beyond — to consider the votes of people when bringing forth the new sustainable development goals. The check mark in the centre is the core message, speaking to the power of each individual vote and voice.
